Our first Video Pick of the Day is for the student-developed game Tank’d, which you can try for yourself on the VFS Projects site. We had a chance to view the student pitch for this game, as well as give it a trial play, a few months ago at Vancouver Film School. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has announced that the agency has concluded a five-month investigation, taking enforcement action against 85 companies for breaking the telemarketing rules. Chase Card Services Canada, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., has announced the launch of the Amazon.ca Rewards Visa® Card. Cardmembers earn two reward points for every dollar spent on eligible Amazon.ca purchases and one reward point per dollar spent everywhere Visa® credit cards are accepted. There is no limit to the amount of reward points cardmembers can accumulate and points do not expire. Throughout the month of April, Pizza Pizza’s traditional restaurant locations are trading slices for unused cell phones or handheld devices. Now in its eighth year, the company’s Cells for Slices program encourages people to recycle their unused devices, which are often not disposed of properly. CAE has announced that it has sold seven full-flight simulators (FFSs) to Air Algérie in Algeria, Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) in Dubai, UAE; two Airbus A320 FFSs for the new Interglobe-CAE joint venture airline training centre in Delhi, India; an Embraer ERJ-190 to Zhuhai Flight Training Centre (ZFTC) in Zhuhai, China; plus two FFSs to undisclosed customers.
