Security technology company McAfee has released findings from the company’s 2012 Holiday Shopping study. The research investigates the online habits, behaviours, interests and lifestyles of global consumers who indicated that they will engage with Internet and mobile devices while shopping this holiday season. EPX Games has released a new trailer for Night Whisper Lane titled the Night Whisper Lane Version 1.0.2 Feature Trailer, which showcases the three major features added in version 1.0.2 The restore from game save after death from a booby-trap was one of the top five requested features that fans and customers wanted. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome is a new, shot in Vancouver science-fiction drama from NBCUniversal which premiered the first of ten episodes yesterday on Machinima Prime’s YouTube channel. February 2013 is when Syfy, a division of NBCUniversal,will be expected to televise the pilot and also offer it on DVD, Blue-Ray, On Demand, and digital download. Throughout the history of the Battlestar Galactica franchise, LightWave 3D^® software has been a constant in the show’s production pipeline for everything from otherworldly atmospheres to earth-shattering visual effects. Blood & Chrome continues the tradition, adding Cylon robots, snake creatures, and more than 20 sets constructed entirely in LightWave 3D. Adobe Systems Incorporated announced the winners of its 12th annual Adobe Design Achievement Awards (ADAA) during a ceremony held last evening at the DesignThinkers 2012 conference in Toronto. The event was hosted in collaboration with Icograda (International Council of Communication Design), with distinguished designers Sean Adams and Noreen Morioka serving as the masters of ceremonies. Kerberos Productions has released a playable Alpha Demo today for their first self-published title, “Sword of the Stars: The Pit” ahead of the beta release, which is expected later this month or early December. The Alpha Demo includes the Engineer, one of the game’s three playable Characters, a brief Tutorial, and five playable levels to explore, which include a good cross section of monsters, traps, and items. Ubisoft^® has announced that Marvel Avengers ™: Battle for Earth, a video game based on the popular Super Heroes and Villains from the Marvel Universe, is now available in the UK on the Microsoft Kinect™ for Xbox 360^®.
