McFarlane Toys in partnership with Ubisoft announced today a licensing agreement to bring Assassin’s Creed®, one of world’s most successful video games franchises, to store shelves.   McFarlane Toys’ Assassin’s Creed series 1 will consist of seven figures including the fan favorite characters of Connor and  Haytham Kenway. Ubisoft has confirmed the release dates of all three upcoming episodes of Assassin’s Creed III The Tyranny of King Washington. This all new single-player experience will let players discover an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution. In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington. The Canadian Cloud Council is pleased to announce the final agenda for the association’s third national conference “Cloud Matters” on March 11 and 12, 2013 at the Rimrock Resort in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Children and youth are increasingly living out a large proportion of their daily lives online — whether using technology to communicate with friends, seek entertainment, or learn and broaden their knowledge about the world around them.  However, just like the offline world, parents and teachers need to be fully aware of the risks children and youth may encounter while using the Internet.  This is why on February 5, International Safer Internet Day, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is letting Ontarians know about the comprehensive Internet safety resources and tools available through the Canadian Centre for Child Protection.  These tools are there to help parents (and teachers) make sense of the challenges with raising children and youth in an ever-changing technological world. Enterprise Information Management (EIM) software provider OpenText™  has announced that industry veteran Kevin Cochrane has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Cochrane will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of OpenText’s global marketing efforts in the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) market, which is projected to reach $19 billion in the next four years.
