Vancouver’s UrtheCast Corp. is pleased to announce that it has signed six new data distributors for its high-resolution Earth video and imagery. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today unveiled the first details for Cold, Cold Heart; the action-packed story add-on for Batman: Arkham Origins. In this extensive story add-on, players will unearth the tragic origin story of Mr.Freeze and learn how he earned his role as one of Batman’s arch nemeses. Cold, Cold Heart will be available for purchase on the PlayStation®Network, Xbox LIVE and Steam beginning April 22. The Audiovisual Coproduction Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of India was signed on February 24, 2014, in New Delhi, India, during the State Visit of His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada. Following thousands of submissions, and nearly 200,000 votes, Ontario’s Cindy Tang, age 17 has been named the winner of the first ever Doodle 4 Google Canada competition for her illustration of an underwater sea telescope. The Government of Canada has is providing $90,000 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund for the 32nd edition of the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA), which will take place from March 20 to 30. Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover made the announcement today. These funds will allow FIFA to present the world’s best media arts productions and art films. The Media Arts section will present a number of experimental art films. In addition to the screening of films and videos, there will be conferences, roundtables, and the production of a catalogue.
