Ubisoft® announced a deal with Marvel Entertainment, LLC to develop a video game based on the popular Avengers characters and other heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe. To be  developed by Ubisoft Quebec, Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth’s interactive environments are inspired by iconic Marvel comic artwork and the Secret Invasion storyline. Activision Publishing, Inc. and Spider-Man Merchandising L.P., a subsidiary of Marvel, have announced two pre-order exclusives for North American fans who reserve an early copy of The Amazing Spider-Man™ videogame versions for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Rockstar Games has announced that The Max Payne 3 Pro Exhibition held in association with Major League Gaming (MLG) on May 5, 2012 in New York City will be broadcast online at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012 from the Major League Gaming and Rockstar Games web sites. Recently, Canadian Online Gamers was invited to Ubisoft Montreal Studios to check out a single player hands off demo of Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3, which is slated to arrive September 4th of this year.  At the end of the demo, I was impressed as Far Cry 3’s “branding of insanity” left a lasting impression.  Not to mention, the game even in pre-alpha stage looked pretty darn good, the characters appeared crazy as hell and the gameplay on the surface looks like it will be a blast.  Read the rest of this entry »
