Crossover events are something TV viewers are used to seeing during ratings sweeps, but now  Namco Bandai Games America Inc. and Ubisoft Entertainment have announced that elite assassin Ezio Auditore from the Assassin’s Creed™ series will be a playable guest character in SoulCalibur^® V for the PlayStation^®3 and Xbox 360^®.  This monumental collaboration will let players control Ezio and his wide range of assassination tools including a Roman Longsword, Stiletto, Crossbow, Hidden Gun and his trademark Hidden Blade.  SoulCalibur V delivers exhilarating 3D fighting mechanics, breathtaking visuals, and new characters, as well as expanding the online and character creation modes.  SoulCalibur V is scheduled to launch on January 31, 2012 in North America. Media Awareness Network (MNet) has launched Privacy Pirates, a new interactive resource to teach children about online privacy and how to distinguish between public and private information when playing on the Internet. Eidos-Montreal used some of the latest game development technology from Autodesk, Inc.  to develop the critically acclaimed “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” video game. Autodesk Scaleform middleware helped the developer build immersive user interfaces (UIs) — from interactive world objects and the hero’s Augmented Reality bio-engineered enhancement, to basic menus and heads-up displays (HUDs).
